Museums and Music Loop
Gunfights and saloon girls, hoodoos and Pahaska Tepee, Buffalo Bill’s Irma Hotel and Cassie’s Supper Club are all just a couple short hours and a breathtaking motorcycle ride from Billings, Montana, to Cody, Wyoming. Of course, you can get to Cody from many other places, but our route had us leaving from Billings on the morning of July 25 and breezing down scenic highway 310. Our first stop was the Old Trails Town and Museum of the
Old West.

Roads and Rodeos Cody Loop
You know the old saying—if you assume a certain fact, you end up making an ass-u-me? Well that’s how we felt after our wonderful trip to Cody
Being native Montanans, we thought we knew our neighbors to the south of us. We were pleasantly surprised as we got further and further into our busy weekend.
We layered on the biker’s standard clothing, ending up with full leathers, as it was a brisk fall morning, to start out our 2-hour ride from Worden, Montana. Once off the interstate at Laurel, we were on a rural 2-lane road setting with tall rows of corn and fat healthy sugar beets.

America's Favorite Pastimes
Have you ever really explored the place where you live? Growing up in southeastern Montana, we were stunned by what we discovered, that we never knew existed, in a great bike ride through our own back yard—that’s back yard Montana style!
My name is Shawna, and my husband, J.C. and I recently toured a wonderful portion of Montana on an Electra Glide Classic, courtesy of Beartooth Harley Davidson/Buell’s rental program. Owner Barry Usher met us at the shop and got us lined out on the weekend’s agenda and made sure that we had a bike that was up to the trip.

Billings Blues & Brews Tour
IT’S IN BILLINGS. Well, we were going to find out. My wife and I left for Billings to attend the Magic City Blues Festival and Montana FairWe arrived in Billings at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Friday. Before we left I had called to ask if there was secure parking for our Harleys. They said no, but assured us there had never been any trouble in their lot or in the parking garage. This turned out to be true, but we would have felt better if there was secure parking for our rides closer to
the hotel.

Range Rider Tour
Hello there! Let me introduce myself – I’m Sinamn (pronounced cinnamon) and yes, I am a spicy biker chick. (My usual self-description includes the B-word instead of “chick”, but this is a nice family publication!) I’ve been married to Uncle Buck for close to a hundred years, and we live in Billings, MT. Uncle Buck has ridden motorcycles nearly all his life, and he finally talked me into seeing the light about 10 years ago. We’ve ridden many places, and thought of riding to many more, but I can honestly say
Miles City has never been on that list. You know what? Our trip
to Miles City was wonderful! We’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Beartooth Pass to
Rafting
the Rapids
We feel very lucky to live in a place where there are so many possibilities for riding, and on a typical weekend we connect with a couple of friends and ride our Harleys on scenic roads in the local area. On this weekend, however, we were thrilled to learn that we would be doing the Beartooth Pass to Rafting the Rapids, a TypeRider loop tour that revealed to us an exciting and
unique Montana.

Best of The West
At about 10:30 a.m., as the sun was fighting its way through a streaky overcast in an endless Montana sky, my husband and I eased out of the Beartooth Harley-Davidson/Buell dealership. It’s Saturday morning—a great day for a ride and we’re feeling energized by anticipation and a cool breeze as we turn north onto the Roundup highway. Then, right in front of us is a forbidding sign – TRUCK ROUTE. While we love to ride under just about any circumstances, wrestling semi-trucks for space on a two-lane highway is not our idea of fun!.

Buffalo Bill’s Cody Country Ride
This is a must ride for those of us who enjoy cruising down the open road to new destinations or places we haven’t been for a while. Mine was a two and a half day ride—leaving Billings, Montana, on Friday; riding to Cody, Wyoming, and returning to Billings on Sunday. It’s a short fun-filled weekend with a scenic ride and lots of activity in and around Cody.
